Normally Golf carts run on powerful electric motors that are connected to a number of batteries depending upon the volts and power required. Many use 6-volt batteries and when 6 of them are used together, they produce 36-volts. Installing new batteries and removing damaged ones will require knowledge regarding the wiring.• Flip the back seat to access the battery carriage. If you are installing them, set them in the carriage in two rows one on top of another. Check water levels. If not up to the mark, fill distilled water till the marking given. Ensure the battery has full charge.
• Clean the battery tops using water, soap and brush. Ensure there is no corrosion. Use a battery cleaner to wire. Number each battery using a chalk.
